My current work includes is a young adult historical novel set in the west during World War II, and How a Small Town Refused to Lose Its Hospital, a narrative nonfiction series about an Oregon community that organized to protect local healthcare.
Through my podcast Restless by Design, I challenge outdated ideas around recovery, neurodivergence, chronic pain, creativity, and intuition that keep people stuck.
I resolved chronic pain and stubborn habits using Mind-Body Skills, then became a Mind-Body Coach. Along the way, I discovered those same skills also apply to writing. So I teamed up with Nicole Criona of Los Angeles Writers Group and created Lazybones Writing Magic to teach writers how to use these skills in their writing lives.
